Is it possible to get help from you guys regard to price of a coin set i have? and is it ok to post a picture of it on here? Thx Coinman.
ok here it goes.. Given to me as a gift Christmas 1999. I had no idea this could be of a nice value as the person who gave it to me never mentioned it, always thought it was about £40 maximum ($70 ish). Im intereseted to know.. 1) what you think was paid for these when originally purchased? 2) what the value is now? 3) If I did sell them, what woud be the best avenue to do so? 4) Would you recommend I hold on to them as the value will rise, or will the value stay the saem or fall. http://img138.imageshack.us/img138/6660/coin18oo.jpg http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/139/coin24ut.jpg http://img133.imageshack.us/img133/69/coin32lw.jpg cheers!! 1)I cant tell you what price that they were purchased for.I have not a clue on that one,but someone here should- 2) I do think the value now would be around $300 US to 350$ US. 3)The best way to sell them for you to get the most veiws & the highest pice would most likley be Ebay- 4)Most of the time on sets like these the value will keep going up but there is always the chance for them to not go up or down. 5) Keep them if you enjoy them ,look back & smile about the kind peson that gave them to you.
Here's a set for you to watch for a good comparitive value- http://cgi.ebay.com/UK-MILLENNIUM-S...oryZ3409QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Howdy UkCoinman - Welcome to the Forum !! Issue price for this set was 245 pounds. It can be purchased from a UK dealer today for the same price or $390. But in the US, they don't sell for quite that much.
