Today's Foreign "Junk?" Finds

    Here's a sample of what I purchased today from some foreign "Junk?" bins.

    Nice haul from the junk bins!

    French 5-francs silver, a couple of silver Canadian dimes, nice US-Philippine 20 centavos, nice 1890 Japan 5 sen...:thumb:

    Wow, How come my coin store doesn't have a junk bin ;/

    A couple North Borneo coins, both in good shape... also from the looks some Austrian and German pre-1900s coinage. Excellent finds, good grief I need to find junk bins again.

    Stuff like this was plentiful in foreign bins when I was a kid in the 70's.
    Now it's hard to come by. I just got lucky on this one.

    It seems like some dealers through in a few goodies now and again to keep people coming back. It makes good sense to keep your customers returning on occasion.

    That's the sort of thing I always look for in the junk bins. I'm hoping to go to check some out tomorrow. What is the first coin on the left in the second row, and the third coin on the top row? Is that the North Borneo someone mentioned?

    Those are Borneo's.
