1958 penny question

    I have a 1958 penny and on the back in (e pluribus) the I looks like a y

    Hi, crazyhmommy, and welcome to CT.
    Your cent is not an error. The areas you point to are damage, created after it left the mint, probably by a counting/rolling machine.
    Keep looking, though. There are errors to be found.

    It looks like a die chip or gouge. It is not going to have any effect on the value. Rolling machine damage looks a bit different.
