I have wanted a Laodicea ad Mare denarius for sometime & thanks to stainless, finally got one. I know some may not like the offcenter reverse but I am ok with it.

I understand so well how much it is of a favorite, being myself an absolute fan of Plautilla (see here for more : http://www.forumancientcoins.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=1003&page=1&sort=ta )

BTW Hilaritas is on the scarcer side as a reverse type : I have made a survey about Plautilla denarii and out of almost 500 of them only 58 had been minted in Laodicaea, 10 of them with a Hilaritas reverse. Very nice addition.

both y'all trippin'. Faustina II (in the younger portraits) is the winner - she's a stallion.

For some reason I didn't keep the pictures, so I'm sorry to say I can't answer that...

This is a nice obverse! Other than the obvious centering problem the reverse is better than many and I don't have the type so I'd be happy to have the coin. For reference, I'll tag on the common Concordia type:

The portrait is nice on yours too Doug, especially with the lettering.
