Here is a LMC with Retained Struck Through Thread.
Small bit of white thread on the E of united.
Coin has 5 areas of struck through on reverse.

 

This one is struck thru wood. I'll post my top 3 favorite struck throughs here.

 

This is more subtle but I like it. 1908-S, rare for any errors

I think your coin may be an intrinsic metallic inclusion. I say this due to there being two separate spots of color. Check here.

Point of order: the nickel you posted is not a Retained Struck Through Coin as stated in the thread tittle..

 

This was the best one I ever had. I put it on the cover of my 1st edition.

 

The person that cleaned that die, had one raggedy rag. LOL
