Anyone know of a website where you can check by cert. no. to make sure a potential purchase isn't stolen?
I've never heard of one; however, most forums like CT have threads started by members who are victims of theft and report what was stolen from their inventory.
Great idea and I am sure it can help capture some of the true idiots out there. Anyone with half a brain would remove it from its holder to disassociate with a tracable serial number, but luckily some thieves truly are plain stupid. Too bad all of them aren't.
