In 1976, did they mint do sets of just the commemorative quarter/half/dollar coins, or did they only do proof sets for those three coins? Also, were they 90% silver, or silver clad? I was thumbing through the Blue Book for prices, and I didn't exactly see what I was looking for (I'd like a plain mint [maybe proof] set of just those three coins in 90% silver). Anyone know what one of these sets runs for?

There is a 3 coin 1976 silver proof set that costs about $15, and a 3 coin silver mint set that costs about $11.

The plain mint sets are 90%, no? If not, I'll have to shoot for the proofs, I guess.

I think both the mint and proof sets are 40% silver.

The regular mint sets are clad as are the proofs. The three coin mint uncirculated and proof sets are 40% silver.
    Here are all four.
