Hey guys I kind of think that the date on this lincoln wheat cent is half weak spot or whatever its called haha. Please tell me if it is and what it's worth, thanks!:hail:
My guess would be grease on the dies. I have seen many wheats like this. At first I was thinking mechanical damage, but typically if that were the case the mintmark would be affected as well. I have never heard of a desired mint error looking like that, I have only seen PMD like that. I hope that helped a little until someone more knowledgable answers you. Chris
