Happy Birthday, Merc!

For your birthday I was gifted with a 1776-1976 circulated S proof in a $250 grab of half rolls I picked up last week. So thanks, you rock!

That was the best coin in there, no silver but lots of halves that filled in holes in my collections.

I have a 2005 D roll of Halves from the mint unopened, how much does it go for? should i sell each coin or whole roll?

 

I check the grocery store by my house every single day. I have yet to find anything. Not even dust.

 

I just found this colored 2005 bison while roll searching. I know not worth any thing but didn't expect to find one in a roll.

found four CWR of cents that were about 30% Wheats (oldest was 1941) and none newer than 1969. Several BU 67 cents...I'll post pics later.

Finally had some time to search a bit today.

2 bwr's quarters... one 10 pence.
11 cwr's halves... nothing
3 bwr's halves... one 68
Picked up one ike.

The bank that had the bwr's of halves said they had orders a couple boxes by mistake. I will have to find some cash and pick those up.

Road trip called off thanks to m girlfriend wanting to spend time with me... whatever. I still have a few boxes to pick up locally, so I'll do that and probably pick up a couple bags of dimes to work through.

 

Too funny, sound like something I would hear from my wife. Happy B-day and hopefully you'll be able to score huge amounts of silver at face in the boxes/bags you pick up.

All this talk about huge scores in CWR makes me want to pick some up on my lunch break and see what happens. I have decent cash flow this week so I'm hoping to have a good one. Thinking about taking a half day on Thursday for a mini road trip. Buy up tons of coin until Thursday, then dump and repeat before the weekend. No searching this weekend, taking the little one to the farm to get pumpkins and the whole deal.

Picking up 8 boxes of halves between today and tomorrow...time to go dump some. Hope I have better luck with these than last weeks boxes!

LOL. It is your birthday, and you seemed disappointed that your woman wants to be with you. LOL. I think it will take years of counseling to overcome this (like any of us want to be "cured")

Picked up a box on friday; 4 wheats, 4 canadian (one is a centenial) but I did find a few BU coins 59D 60D 61D 62D 63D 64D and a 66. I've been averaging 10 wheats a box lately

I bought $17.50 in halves from the bank today (and they all looked like they were in a fire, or something; the edges were black as sin). Out of those halves, nine were silver clads (1x '66, 5x '67, 2x '68-D, and 1x '69-D, specifically).
