I currently have a 2006A $100. I already posted it on here quite a while back. Well anyways, since then Series 2006A $100 production has gone up. My bank teller is currently holding a 1981A $100 for me. I am a series collector; so I want both. But that isn't going to happen, its one or the other... Please help me: Should I take the '06A $100 to get the '81A or keep my '06A?

Catalog value is about dead-even. I purchased this Series uncirculated 1981 A $100 FRN last year for $105.75:

I'd probably stick with the higher quality Series 2006 A note.

Well how updated is your catolog? I ask this because in recent months the feds are printing many many more 2006A $100's. I got this information from USPaperMoney.Info...

I was in Las Vegas this past weekend and came across 2 $100 2006A notes, my first encounter with this series. Series 2006A is going to be printed for the forseable future, atleast well into next year. I would take the 1981A $100.

Thats what I thought... I had a feeling about that... The Feds just can't seem to get them Series 2009 $100's underway... Too bad... This '06A could have meant something...
