Bin Laden Coin

Has anyone seen the coin for the kill of Bin Ladin that tributes the SEALs on the obverse and 9-11 on the reverse..its clad in gold prob not worh a crap but deff worth the 20$ on princaple alone!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't buy a single thing that had Bin Laden's name on it no matter whether it was to commemorate his assassination or not. For all you know, his maniac followers may be responsible for it's production for the sole purpose of reminding everyone that the US is their enemy.

well for me I know he is a enemy..(seeing i was there a few times) and its from the historic coin mint so i dont beleive they would be supporting him. On the coin it dont say nothing about Bin Laden just shows Seal team 6 and the towers..But like i said i know he is my enemy and i dont beleive this is any attempt to turn him into a marter by the Historic coin mint..but all the same it will look good next to my Combat Infantry Badge, Airborne wings,and whatevre else i put around it!

 

Not worth a plug nickle to me.

 

HOOAH Troop, I am not an Infantry Soldier but I am a Field Artillery Soldier that went over as an Infantry Soldier. Would love for this to be next to my Combat Action Badge and Shrapnal From IED Blast.

I can understand how you feel, and I have the utmost respect for all men and women in uniform in service to our country. I'm still disappointed that Bin Laden died so quickly. I had always hoped that he would be captured alive so all of the families of those lost on that tragic day could be allowed to carve a small piece from his body so he would have a very slow and painful death.

The Disney company tried to trademark the name "Seal Team Six".

Maybe they can try with "Bin Laden" and put these guys out of business.

When calling-in the coordinates for a fire mission [Vietnam], I was really grateful that you guys responded so rapidly It's good knowing you earned your CAB. Only comment about the shrapnel is that I hope you didn't wear it on the inside.

Everything to do with the man should be put in the garbage and ****ed on. I'm 100% sure the seals and the support feel the same. He should not even be given the space in this thread and Doug should break the rules and delete this thread.

100% is an awful high number to through out there unless you know anyone from seal team 6...and if i was a beting man and i am i would bet that they are more than thrilled they got the privalge of taking that pice of garbage out..i mean why not have a coin to celebrate the men who X'ed the worlds number 1 terriost..

Honolulu I am authorized a few right sleeve patches comes with deploying lol. The favored is my 101 squacken chicken. No ranger tab or SF for me since I busted my back on Deployments but honored to wear a patch at all and do something for my country when lots of people sit around and cry about things they wont do anything about changing. On the shrapnal I did not wear it on the inside thank god lol but got close enough to know I am allergic to explosions and gun shots lol.
