Long wait yet they arrived with enough time to be imaged and taken to the safe deposit box.

Archduke Ferdinand Karl 2 Taler ND (1646) Hall. Dav-3363, AU58 NGC. Very attractive design and variety with the lion's head on the shoulder.

Ferdinand III Taler 1638 Graz Mint. Dav-3185, MS63 NGC, silvery-gray and gold patina with strong details. Very scarce grade for this series.

Leopold the Hogmouth Taler 1698 Graz Mint. Dav-3235, MS63 NGC. I liked the colors and design on this one with aged patina and sharply struck details. The edge clipping (Zainede) is a bit distracting yet the overall look of this one is quite attractive for the set.

#$(* you and your talers, always enjoy seeing your new acquisitions, they never disappoint! All three are great additions. The toning on the Leopold is really nice. I think the clipping gives it some character.

I wanted to add, I have never seen these type of coins or even heard of them for that matter. They are so beautiful, I had to come back to this thread to see them again. Although i collect mostly U.S., it sure is nice to see something different.

Long wait indeed. I presume you won these at the Heritage auction ran at Long Beach show. I won a pair of lots as well, paid by wire transfer, and still have not received the coins. They didn't even send out the notice they had been shipped until Friday last week, even though they received funds on September 19. Seems to me they need to hire some help down there in Dallas. I understand we're talking about many millions of dollars worth of coins and that security is probably an issue. But if they're going to pocket my $800+ it's reasonable to expect the coins to be sent out within 5 days at the very most. Were it bullion related material I had won, the lots would have lost 16% of their value while they kltuz around.

Same here as it seems it's been a long time and I just got my email today about my shipment going out.
