Just got a lot of 100 fine 100 dinara banknotes today, i was looking for some errors on them or rare notes to look for. I am not an expert in this area, so i don't know what to search them for. One thing I found that was very interesting was that there were some that had 6 serial numbers and printed higher than the other ones. thanks for the help everyone

I have the Borna Barac catalog, which is my only specialized catalog of Yugoslavia. I don't know if there are others with more detail. But there are a bunch of 100 dinara banknote types, can you provide a scan, a description, a date, something that will help distinguish which one you're talking about?

    Thanks

The catalog shows the note as Y83, which has six varieties based on dates and the font of the serial number. The first one in your image is one of Y83c.d.e. or f, depending on the date (1.8.1965, 12.8.1978, 4.11.1981 or 16.5.1986). The font is the same on those four notes. The second one is Y83a from 1.8.1965 and is the one that's worth something... 35 um "units" :). You don't show a Y83b, which is yet another font (like your first image but the bottoms of the "1" digits have a base on Y83b) and also issued with 1.8.1965 date.

thankyou dave. I have 3 other notes with 1.8.1965 on them. they all have a font different from the first one. You mentioned something about it being worth 35 units? I am not sure of the exchange rate on that :) perhaps you could give me some help?

If they all have a font like the second one you posted, they look to be Y83a, the 35 unit one. Looks like that's 35 Euros, in UNC condition. The others are all listed at 1 Euro in Unc. This is a 2002 catalog, and I really don't know how accurate that is.

thank you for the help dave, I'll look into it. The others ones actually have a different font, but same year and number of digits. I always seem to come up with some banknotes that are hard to find info on, i appreciate it
