I’m a sucker for contrasting grey toning with that “antique patina” look, for which I coined the term “CircCam” (i.e., “circulation cameo”). I’m also a fan of early O-mint coins with the mintmark inside the wreath, for some reason I can’t adequately explain. (I guess there’s worse things to like, eh?). Nobody bid against me. Hey, she might be too dark for some folks. But me, I like 'em a bit dark sometimes, as long as there's some contrast there to make the devices pop a little. I figure she'll make a nice little sister for my CircCam '53 A&R quarter, which is also a crusty PCGS VF35.
I like it, Rob! When it comes to the seated coinage, I prefer that they have this look compared to anything else. I also chose bacon and candy canes up each nostril....

The only one, so far. But it's a valid contrarian viewpoint. To each their own, after all. However, I do I feel somewhat vindicated that the poll so far aligns with my appreciation of the look.
Nope, I just agreed with Kanga: but I voted for the twin peppermints up the nose. But at least it's original rather than having been dipped by gaggles of nefarious coin dealers hoping to get it into an XF slab.
