I know, I know, pictures are needed, but I can't scan the note until I get home next week, but I want to ask anyway.

$5 FRN series 2006, with serial HF07078888A. Keeper or spender?

    Thanks.

I would say spender. IF it was solid, you would have anice note but that one is nothing special.

Keeper in my book! Heck the BEP makes special runs of 777 or 888 notes, so having 4 in a row is cool. Of coarse the BEP notes are CH but the alignment is a crap shoot.

Keeper. I found a $10 in probbably vf 25 condition with the number 00021000 and decided not to keep it since money was tight but i've been kicking my self since for not keeping it.

I sure would have kept that! That's a very neat serial number! Don't worry though, I'm sure we've all been there and done that...

I just realized something; your note is a type 2 Series 2006 $5!!! This makes it even more a keeper! They had 2 designs for Series 2006; type 1 and type 2. Type 1 is the colorized new redesigned $5's. Type 2 is the non-colorized. I base this information off of the 'H' in the beginning of the serial #. Deffinately a nice find!

Thanks for pointing that out, tbud. I didn't realize that. I always knew I was going to keep it, but now have a better reason. Pics when I get home next week.
