1992 Nickel Question.

    Hi. I admit. I am new to coin collecting but I have found a 1992 Nickel that has a different (raised) edge. Is this common? I will post pics. Any info would be great. Thanks!

    It almost looks like it has a metal band around the outside. You are probably right.
