Possible Nickel Error

    Hello, sorry if i sound wrong or anything but i began collecting coins and i notice i think i might have a double die 2000 D nickel. can anyone confirm? plus can anyone see the possible value too? thanks

    It is not possible for a nickel from 2000 to have a double die, because the mint changed how they make the dies. If you are asking about the nickel on the left, it appears to be a grease strike-through.

    Actually, we still have doubled dies even today with the single-squeeze hubbing.

    Perhaps you should visit www.conecaonline.org and do a little reading. James Wiles has numerous confirmed doubleD dies post 2000.
