1902 Silver Dollar

I was wondering if anybody can me what this coin would be wort. I had somebody at church that pasted the coin too me. She told me since I like to ollect coins she would let my generation take on the coin now. I know its over 100 years old.

The coin looks bad put it is in great condition.

I think the value CT put is right...but I would only grade it VG.

what is CT and VG mean?

 

CT is short for what I call The Cave Troll....the guy above that posted a value.....VG is a grade....the grade of your coin.

so basically the VG means Very Good? I thought is was so I am glad. I know one thing this coin will never be sold or trade. do oyu think it will go up in price in later years?

 

Yes it means Very Good....but CT thinks it is Fine....
The price really has to do with what silver is....if silver goes up then yes the coin will go up....this isn't a rare date so I don't think its just going to go up for any other reason than the price of silver.
