My grandmother gave me this coin around 30 years ago. It is loosely mounted in a gold necklace thing and has been in a small cloth bag in my desk drawer for as long as I can remember. We are getting ready to move and I almost threw it away. But it is really heavy and I assume it's real gold and not some fake thing. Anyway... was wondering what it might be worth. Thanks!

never sell to the first place you ask about value, when I went to sell some pms a while back, the prices varied widely, the place I sold to offered me almost three times what some other place offered, with that coin that can mean a difference of a thousand dollars.
