    I saw this coin in a recent auction:

    What is the significance of Canopus?

    I found this information on wildwinds.com from a previous auction:

    On the reverse, does L DEKA signify the year 10? If so, what does the TOV mean? Or is it short for ETOVC (also meaning year)?

    Any thoughts? Other information or insights? Additional information about Canopus?
