Found all these at an old farm house here in Michigan. The two Barber quarters were in the same hole. I have never done that before. I have found two barber quarters in one yard before but never in the same hole. Fun stuff. The one barber dime is an 1892 with an "O" mint mark. A 1917 Merc. and a 43 Washington plus a couple Indian heads to boot. Lots of wheaties too. A fun yard it was.
Congratulations jimmiejam, you've come up with some nice coins. It must be a real thrill to find old coins like these. Kind of makes your day. Bruce
Way better than what you see old geezers get at the beach ! I've never detected but, you'd clearly need virgin grounds, IMO ! I like to observe the beach guys....looks like they never find ****. You might as well go fishing from shore, IMO ! But at least being on the beach is cool. Good luck to all that detect !
A buddy of mine wanted to detect higway reststops...I thought it was a bad idea, maybe not ? The guy is a self made millionaire from picking dumpsters , owning farmland in Iowa, and nailing +EV casino promotions. He comes up with crazy ideas ! Dude is like 50 with a 35 Hottie wife ( that looks like my Daughter !), and I'm his age !
Did you ever think that some of those old geezers were using detecting as an excuse to see the hot chicks sunning on the beach! Just saying.....
