Wow, I posted a Gettysburg thread about the same time you did. Anyone order the Gettysburg 5oz. P Mint coin and how many did you order? I just ordered one for my collection. I still like the series, although a little pricy, the low mintage should keep the price up there even if/when silver tanks.

I ordered one as well shortly after 12 oclock. Only ordered 1. Order number 382002XX. This series is indeed going to be extremely pricey. This has been a tough year to order coins because the mint is pushing out high priced coins very close together.
Just looking back at my order history this year you can see what I mean.

    May 17- Yellowstone 5oz ATB $279.95
May 17- 1 oz Proof gold Bufalo $1760.00
    June 9- Yosemite 5oz ATB $279.95
    June 28- ASE proof $59.99
    June 29-Grand Canyon 5oz ATB $279.95
    Sep. 14 ASE uncirculated $60.45
    Sep. 22 Gettysburg 5oz ATB $279.95

Thats over $3000 in 5 months! I know it probably pales in comparison to most of the big timers here, but that is still a great deal of money for a "collector" to spend.

At least I got a break in July!

I'm thinking of getting one of the Gettysburg 5oz coins.. Since I'm about 8 miles from there it seems fitting. That would be the first one I would be getting. Not sure if I will get others as the price at my budget level would be rather high...

I'm with you swagge1. Pricey but I like the look of this fancy bullion. 382043XX at 3pm. I didn't get the gold. Gotta draw the line somewhere...

It will be interesting to see if the increased limit of 5 per household causes a faster sellout.

Nice coin! Wish I had mine, but when it came this morning, I refused delivery because I already reordered it at the lower price.

    rickmp Frequently flatulent.

Ordered mine yesterday afternoon, they are on the UPS truck for delivery today. I'm impressed with speed of shipping/delivery.
I hope the coins are equally impressive.
