1921 Mercury Dime and 1921S Walking Liberty Half

Found these 2 coins in the junk silver pile. Paid 2 bucks for the Merc and 14 for the half. Grades/Opinions?

I need a 1921-D Walker from a junk silver box for melt value. Help me Obie Wan, Help me :yes:

 

Both of those coins were face up while I was searching. I was hoping to see D's when I turned them over. Perhaps next time I'll find a 1921 or 1921D.

 

Ha ha! Silver dropped 10% since you bought it yesterday!

I gotta find me some junk silver boxes.

 

I got my 1921 Mercury dime the same way about a year ago. It shows that even though most people assume those junk silver bins are all picked over you can still find something good if you're lucky.

Someone else posted about a 1913s quarter they got in a junk bag last year. I tell you, I had a great time going through junk bags in the late 80's put together in 1980. At the time everything was getting tossed in there. I got a lot of goodies, but nothing ever that good.

I am looking forward to 5-10 years from now. If silver is $25 or less I will be buying quite a few bags of junk just for fun.
