Hello, I dont want to be mean, but seriously check this out and you will understand what I mean. Thanks Dan http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d0YzpdI09EY
1. wow. that guy has no intelligence at all. 2, if those were gold, id have about $10,000 worth stashed away
It's NOT a "Liberty Dollar", it's a Sacagawea dollar LOL I like how the other coin has "some dudes face on it". HAHAHAHAHA BTW - "green stuff" is verdigirs from the corrosion of the copper plating.
When I watched that part I started laughing so bad my stomache started hurting AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
When I saw the title of your post, I thought you were talking about someone who did something really cruel or dishonest. The guy in the video just doesn't know squat about current dollar coins and the value of gold-- which is, like, 90% of the US population.
I'm not sure I want some of whatever he's having.....he's dumber than Charlie became after Charlie was smart (in Flowers for Algernon).
Reading the comments the guy in the video posted, it doesn't sound like it was meant to be an April Fool's joke
A joke? Sounds to me like the guy was serious: "ya someone finally told me the real ones have Ron Paul on them , and they're worth a lot now, and the ATF or somebody flipped out because they were even being made .. if my friend explained this stuff to me, i probably would have never made the video .. oh well, it's an education anyway ... still the fact that these ones rust so quick seems sketchy on the part of our govt ... the bank told me they were not counterfeit anyway"
Noooo I already know for sure he was serious; I was referring to my original comment: "I want some of whatever hes having... ;D"
I'm not so sure I'd want some of that, especially if it was this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5wMnCpa3opc&feature=related
I just dont get it...even a person who doesn't know anything about coins should know just from basic knowlage that gold is a valuable metal. So why would they even consider a modern $1 coin in circulation to be gold?
You'd think so, but some people don't even have that knowledge base. They know what they know, and it doesn't include esoteric things like what the price of gold is, and the fact that aside from collector's pieces (gold coins) that gold just isn't a metal used in circulating coins.
