Its a commemorative type coin or medal, that was issued on the 100th year of the city Donetsk Ukraine, in the Soviet Union.
The subject matter screams Soviet Union, but there is no "CCCP' on the coin, so my guess would be that if it is a medal, it's probably Russian, but if it's a coin it's probably from one of the eastern bloc countries that use the Cyrillic alphabet. (It's not Bulgarian.) Well, collelctingkid seems to know what he (she?) is talking about, and posted while I was writing. Good work!
collectingkid is right, the medal (not a coin) is simply a commemorative of Aug 26, 1969 which is the 100th anniversary of the town of Donetsk in the Ukraine. The reason that Lenin is on this is that the town has a HUGE statue of Lenin like this in the town. So that's all.
Donetsk is a big city in the Eastern Ukraine. It's a great industrial center with a many big coal mines. This commemorative medal was minted at 1969 (Centennial of Donetsk). Reverse - V.I. Lenin.
