It's either a die gouge or a gas bubble trapped when the planchet was copper plate. More than likely, the latter. Take a soft toothpick and see if it moves when pressed on. Is so, gas bubble. If not, die gouge. Either way, not a retirment winning premium.
oh well I really dont need to worry about retirement for another oh, lets see, carry the one... about 50 years, so no biggie. Do you think it has any premium, at all? Thanks It does not move, so I would assume die gouge.
