    Help!
I need to write a paper on the 1933 Gold Double eagle seizure.
If you can direct me to any sites with credible information, that would be superb!
    Thanks!!

Coin World magazine wrote a number of articles on the subject from the initial seizure through the end of the trial. For $20 you can get a 52 week subscription to Coin World's Digital Edition. You can search the archives and get all the articles conveniently grouped.

The case was heard in US District Court, 601 Market St. Philadelphia. You may find some online articles in the local papers there. I found a few...

I think the $20 Coin World option is worth it because you can write letters to Coin World and the reporting staff actually responds with personal emails and are willing to offer their insight. Additionally, Coin World publishes Reader editorials representing a variety of "collector" perspectives.

Now there's a scholarly source. Anything that can be edited by the unknowable hulking masses is anything but a trustworthy source to cite. Maybe to get a good idea on a particular subject, but "heavens no" for citing........
