Found out on my lunch that another bank by me just got 400 ikes from a customer.

 

Yesterday, while picking up H's from the new BoA that I was ordering boxes from, I got 86'd. When I asked to order another for next week, they said I need a business account to order coin... I told The Wife, and she said, "Well, I guess we'll have to order them on my account." LOL Now I am wondering how much coin we can order if it's on a business account. heh

Stopped by the other BoA I ordered from, and they still haven't received any H's. No N's either. However, the vault manager told me that BoA switched armored services for our entire area, and reduced deliveries from every day to only twice a week - cost cutting measure. Maybe the new service will yield some new silver...

Off to dump, and scrounge up some N's.

Box of Halves tonight...much better. 7 x 40% Ken's.

Funny thing was 1 roll had 3, 1 roll had 2, and 2 others had 1 each.

 

Gold? Nice.

That's a pretty solid box. Wasn't able to pick up my usual box today due to a cash shortage, but that has been rectified and tomorrow will be business as usual.

 

$20 in dimes, nada. Oh well, teller gave me a very nice looking 71 Kennedy. No silver, but handsome coin. I'll keep it for sure. Besides, I just got a new pair of roller skates, I can't be to upset ^_^ lol. But now I'm crossing my hobbies.

 

20 rolls of dimes, skunk.....all i could get my hands on today, today is hustle time!

Ok, so can someone explain why Ikes are worth more than a dollar?

I'm guessing the purchasers are gambling on them as a long-term investment.

 

So I had my mom go to the bank and purchase as many rolls of half dollars she could. She was hesitant and thought she would appear weird and feel embarrassed. I told her to blame me and say her son collected them, begging didn't hurt either. She comes home with 3 hand rolled rolls. There were 5 40% and 1 90% silver half dollars! That is a $42 profit with no risk. She is now hooked. I also cleaned them because they have no numismatic value anyway and now look much nicer.

 

My first roll search was a box of nickels. I found one Buffalo Nickel and about 15 pre-1960's. Filled in all of the most recent Whitman album with some very nice coins.

 

Just went to 5 different banks, and the last one had $150 in loose halves. Getting ready to start in on them, so wish me luck!
