I have like three pennies with an 's' under the date. I know P is for philadelphia and D for delware but 's'?
I don't believe that any British Commonwealth country used an "S" mintmark, and I know that the San Francisco Mint never produced any pennies. By any chance are you talking about US One Cent coins?
Obviously one of the terms used to discribe the American Cent as noted in the Webster Dictionary. Please discribe the coins further. Such as what is the date, what is on the front and rear of the coin.
