1890-O Morgan $1

    I received this as a gift, and surprisingly, it's my first Morgan! Artificial toning on the reverse, but looks kinda cool in hand...:

    Nice!! I'm no expert, but I think the toning might have come from being in a folder. That's been my experience when a coin is more toned on one side than the other.

    Looks like album toning. That's not artificial, which implies it was intentionally doctored to create a rainbow or other type of desirable toning.

    Album toning or not it has good eye appeal, and it was a gift which makes it a treasure. Thanks for sharing.

    Not a bad Morgan to start with... Not the easiest date to come by in decent grades
