Grade Me

1896 Indian Head. I can post some close up pics if any one wants one....just let me know what part of the coin you want to see. Im thinking of sending this one off to NGC for their grade. Toning looks natural to me.

Ms-63 bn

 

I would of said MS64, but i do not see a single ding, or scratch mark from bags so I am going to say 65BN

 

there is one small contact mark above the necklace, thats the only one I can see.

I guess I'm seeing a different coin... AU58 to me.

 

Too much glare to make out everything, but I will guess 64.

 

Hard to tell form the pict but AT details "color"
If not I'm in the Au range.

 

It looks like a very nice coin with some nice color to it. Its always hard to tell what a coin is ,,,if its a AU58 or MS from a picture. But I´m not sure if what I see on the neck is a bag mark or just a spot,,But i do see two parallel lines on the shield. If its a Unc coin and if those are spots on the neck I would guess that NGC would give it a grade of MS64 at best and if its contact marks on the neck I would guess that its a definite MS63. IMHO

 

I see a little wear on the hair by the ribbon and over the ear. I agree with a AU, but I put it at 55 for lack of luster. JMO

I am in the AU camp also and not sure about that color.

 

Is it just me or does anyone else have trouble judging grade from an upside-down image? LOL.
