VAM Coin Value

    I think APMEX is asking too much for it. The 2011 VAMView lists it at $375 in MS64.

    VAMView is published annually by the SSDC, and though it is still just a guide, the pricing information is obtained from actual sales and auction results.

    Thanks for the information. So that is probably a retail price too; my guess is that there are a fair number of these out there that are unattributed. I had to get PCGS to do it for me, with the $25 fee, I had to ask several times if they had looked at it for attribution, finally they got around to it though I sent it in on the express tier with some other coins. Probably a reasonable price for the VAM is 2/3 of retail price. The way to sell it will be either auction or a coin show where I will soon be setting up.
