Oh no Silver is crashing!!! Its back way under 14.00 today, is this the end? Did the bottom fall out? I knew I should have sold!!!!! Oh no better sell now before its back to 4.00 again!
Unlikely. Calm down - you have to learn waht is going on. Perhaps there is some mass selling going right now, but it is hard to determine what is going on.
I was only play'en! I was worried for a minute when I saw that it was only silver going down, I see gold shot down too. I am sure its just a brief fluctuation, At least I hope. I was hoping to dump some silver rounds if it got to about 16.00 and I just listed 3 rolls of roosevelt dimes on EBAY bandito
Can we say "CORRECTION". I sit 10 feet from a metals trading desk....bit of stress today. Simple article on yahoo explains some of this....the dollar strengthend against the euro. down down the goblin hole......$13.15 for silver at this posting. Hoping it drops down...that way silver proofs won't cause super nose bleeds next year.

Eh I had expected silver to drop sometime before May/June. It will continue to rise again, just like gold did. Past week I added 10oz of silver, I stand to either make a bit with my entire holdings or lose just an itty bitty bit. Most coins still hold numismatic value as well but were bought dirt cheap.

As I posted over at GIM; I am not cringing at the least on this drop... I'm in the buying and aquiring phase and buying all I can get, so I don't care if it drops to 4.00 an O or less.... I'm not selling any off for a long long time, so The lower the better to me... I want to see just how much I can accumulate before I retire, which is in about 25-30 years... The only reason I hate to see if drop is for the people on here and over on GIM that are Short timers, trying to get a quick buck and just lost their lunch... That and I don't want to hear a few of my buddies say, ""Ahh Man, I heard the bottom fell outta your silver today"".... its like a roller coaster, it Might drop a few more, but there will be another big spike..

The fundamental reasons for this bull market in commodities, & PMs in particular, are all still intact. Anyone who's going to participate in this better expect soem days like today. Actually, I'm hoping it lasts for a while. I had taken some stock profits a couple of weeks ago, & have some specific stocks I'd like to buy.
