If you need the book then it might be a good deal. You can find them on Ebay and Amazon cheaper though.
You can save yourself shipping and handling and walk into any Barnes & Noble and pick one up for $16.70.
Found one for 9.99 + 3.00 shipping. For the 16$ one i might as well buy here but for 13$ ill buy on ebay.
So am I and it's marked down from $19.95 to $16.70, savings 16%: http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/gui...vid-bowers/1008820871?ean=9780794822644&itm=3
I suppose I should have asked why you want the book in the first place. If you want just a general reference on each year and mint mark then the red book is fine but if you want a comprehensive book on Lincoln cents then you are wasting your money. IF that is what you are after I would recommend The Authoritative Reference on Lincoln Cents, John Wexler and Kevin Flynn or The Complete Guide to Lincoln Cents, David W. Lange
Red Book is included in the $76 Value Whitman Starter kit for $29.95 >>>> http://www.cointalk.com/t191647/#post1261652
You also said you have a 15% coupon....................sooooooooooooooo use that.............and you get the book still under $17 pre-tax.

Here are some references you can use as well.. and they are free! http://www.dvnmagazine.com/ http://www.cointalk.com/t4446/ http://koinpro.tripod.com/Articles/OtherFormsOfDoubling.htm http://www.cointalk.com/t78043/ http://www.coingrading.com/intro1.html http://www.doubleddie.com/1801.html http://www.conecaonline.org/ There are also numerous articles and threads on Coin Talk.
So much debate over a book. If you want it buy it if not then don't. I rather use the online free references provided by jhinton and use the $16 for a bag of wheaties!
