    Hello,
Last night, at work, I found a 2001 $20 note in AU condition with the serial numer CI00000209 A.
Anyone have an idea what someone may pay for this? I was looking around on ebay to see what people are paying, however none were about to end so an accurate price range was not found.
    Thanks,
    Ty

That's a nice low number, but I don't think extremly valuable.
    I found these:

    #00000961 $20 closed at $15.50 + $5 s/h
00003927 in some kind of presentation case $32

    here is a search

I don't know much about the value of the different Fed. Reserve Banks (indicated by the letter at the begining of the Serial Number) because sometimes this plays a part in the value.

If you are looking to compare it, then compare it to other 3-digit SN (e.g. 00000123, 00000987).

From what I could tell it looks like they would be going for $5-10 over face. Keep in mind, these are probably perfect bills directly from a brand new bank strap.

If it were me, I'd just keep it. $5 (less fees) is not worth going through the hassels of ebay. Other thoughts to sell it with less hassel would be the open forum on this site.

Hopefully someone with more knowledge about paper money can chime in.
