My aunt Faith got me this in 1956 for my Birthday or Xmas I am sure what one as there both in December& she got a 2 World coin set from a mail order house.littleton I think :kewl:
Ukraine commemorates everything under the sun. The coins are for sale in the banks, always for prices I think are too high. For that reason I have very few commemorative coins, only coins from circulation - one time in 2009 I got a 1992 dated pattern coin in change.

This piece, though unsigned, may have been created by one of the greats of Syracuse minting, as it displays superior skills in artistic approach and engraving.

I got this coin today. It's a 2-liards coin from Austrian Netherlands. Very high grade for such an old coin.
