1985 "swivel" D Dime

    Searching through a circulated dime roll, this caught my eye. A 1985 dime, but the D is sideways. Anything special? Thanks!

    Appears to be post mint damage,sorry. BTW welcome to Cointalk!

    Appears to me that the mintark was drilled in rather than stamped
    I doubt it was post-mint damage
    Good find!

    I can't say I've ever heard of a "drilled in" mintmark.

    What? When was a mint mark drilled into a coin die?

    Looks like post-mint damage. It's not really sideways, so much as being smashed. Also, note the damage to the rim. I'm not a dime error expert, but this simply looks like a beat-up dime to me.
