Hello, I'm new to the forum. I'm not what you would call a "collector", I have some old coins that I keep for their beauty, not for their value, nor am I an expert . A friend of mine came to me the other day with a coin that I have never seen before, I have no idea of its history, value or its nature. I was hoping that someone here could give me some info about it. If anyone could tell me something about it I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
The obverse has the general appearance of an 18th century Scandanavian coin, but the reverse is completely strange to me. If your local public library has the 18th century edition of the Standard Catalog of World Coins you may be able to find a picture of your coin.
It has a reverse of Poland and an obverse of Friedrich Willhelm of Prusssia, which should make it from East Prussia, but it's not listed in Krause.
Thank you both for some much interest in the matter, I was afraid that no one could at least point me in the right directon.
I'm still having a lot of hard time placing this coin, I've searched some coin catalogs from the public library and "tons" of internet sites, but couldn't find this one. I found three coins with the same obverse of Friedrich Willhelm, dating in the 1782 -1784, but couldn't find a single one with both the same reverse and obverse. If anyone can provide additional information I would be very thankful.

I found three more coins with the same obverse of Friedrich Willhelm, but not a single one with both the same obverse and reverse. The coins date from 1782 - 1784, at least does that appeared in the catalogs. If someone has additional information I would be extremely thankful.
