    I just started collecting small-sized $1 notes.
I know I need at least the "Medium Size" currency sleeves (6½" x 3").
The ones that came with some of the notes are stiff which I assume means PVC-free.
Now I need to buy some for the notes that didn't come with sleeves.

In general what do I look for?
-- Size (looks like medium is what I want, but ...?)
-- PVC-free (as important as with coins?)
    -- Anything else?

    Recommended manufacturers?

I recommend sheets that are 100% polyester. That was advice I got directly from a paper curator at the Smithsonian.

If you're going to the Philly show next week Dave, you can pick them up there. That way you can look at all the different sizes and styles and ask questions before you buy. The sources mentioned above are good ones too if you want to buy online.

I use BCW rigid currency toploaders made from high density PVC.
