Indian Head Cent Error? 1908

    Hello,
    I got ripped off with this coin lol but basically the 9 tail is touching the top and it looks like a 1808 is this an error?

    Got a photo? I know alot of people say this but it certainly helps to see what you have in hand. Is it an error? Maybe, Did you get ripped off? Maybe. Are all cars blue? No.

    The tail of the 9 in a 19XX Indian Head Cent looping around is pretty common, especially when a coin is circulated and the date gets flattened a little bit. But pictures would be helpful if you want to know for sure.
