I'm guessing AU, but I suck at grading still. lol.

For what it's worth, an MS64 is around $12.

    I'll venture a guess....

I'm thinking low end Mint-state, maybe a 62, but could be a nice 58. The toning will bump it's value a bit, I'd guess right around $8-10 for it. But that scratch will hurt it a bit..... Like I said this is my guess.

I really like it, and would be proud to own it!!

    I don't know about the toning....looks kinda AT. Grade= MS64, Value= $10

Splotchy coloring will hold it back more than anything. I would doubt NGC or PCGS would grade it, but I would give it a 65. From all I can see that is virtually mark free.

Thanks for the comments. I gave $6 for it and I like it. I kind of like the toning but not sure if it AT or natural. It is very hard to get a good pic of it.

Can you post a straight on close up of the date? Can't really tell if it's a small date from the pics you posted.

Suspect toning, probably an old cleaning, MS-63.

That scratch on the reverse really hurts the coin IMO. I wouldn't buy it, course that's just me though.

It's definately a small date, but the newest pictures confirm chemical surface damage. Somebody attempted to clean the coin. The good news is that these are cheap. I see them at shows and dealers all the time in the $5-7 range for nice, red MS examples.

Yeah I was worried about that, but like you said it want cost me much to replace it with an undamaged one. I have some more LMC that I would like to show you all. They are proofs and they came from the same guy. I will post another thread later today, thanks to everyone.
