1925 s wheatback

    I have a 1925 s wheatback with nothing on the back, its just smooth. I looked online for errors on that year and got nowhere. does anybody have info on this? thanks

    Very cool! I'm not quite sure as to how it happened, but quite an error you got there! I got a completely blank penny :)

    Sorry, but someone took a sander/grinder to it. That is PMD (post mint damage).

  6. A "completely blank" cent would be a blank planchet, and is worth a few bucks. DO you know if it is pre 1982, or post 1982?

    Yeah, I got it for a few bucks. Believe it's a post 1982. It's nothing too special but I do like it, and I am a new collector :p
