I received my order of Nevada quarters from the mint last week. (just my opinion, but I think these are the best yet). In going through them, I found what I'll call a "flower pod" on the reverse. The obverse on the three coins I found have an error in the neck along with the flower pod. All are from the Denver mint. One coin I found looks like the beginning of the "bigger" error (or whatever you want to call it). Is this a common error, or should I send them in for inspection? Hey, maybe it'll be the new Speared Bison. Wouldn't that be nice!!! Pic 1 is the obverse of the neck on the full pod. Pic 2 is the pod of that coin. Pic 3 is the neck of the beginning stages of the error, and Pic 4 is the reverse pod. Pic 5 is how the normal coin (and my proof sets) look like. Just to see the difference. Will enjoy your feedback.
Nice little die break It's kind of like the BIE Lincoln breaks, neat, but no real premium for it. Thanks for sharing!!
