Hello everyone. I found this coin in a roll and wanted to get some opinions. What could have caused this? Im sure it did not happen at the mint(I Think) any and all replies welcomed and thanks.

It appears to have been "spooned" or had some time in a revolving dryer drum, so the metal is pushed into the higher rims by the drum.

    Spooned is my guess, too.

These are easy and inexpensive to make, I wonder if some make them intentionally for ebay and such. Seems like more lately than a couple of years ago.

ok thanks everyone. I knew it was not a mint error but just wanted to get some opinions on how it could have happened.
