Any help on value or quality on these would be greatly appreciated.

I had two older threads on these but I think people lost interest due to the lack of pictures. Well, here they are.

I can get reverse pictures but it might take some time. Let me know if thats necessary.

    Thanks! :)

The ten and twenty dollar bills are dated series of 1929. The confederate note is dated Feb 17th 1864.

Someone will chime in hopefully with some definitive remarks about these notes. From what I can see, the Confederate note has uneven edges and a top edge fold. All the other notes, have multiple folds, which affects the overall value regardless of any significance of Bank issue or Red Seals.

Okay, thank you. The value doesnt much matter, I was just a little curious. These were giving to me by my grandpa so that, to me, outweighs the actual value. I'm a little more into coins. Picked that up from grandpa too. lol I just think they are neat and wanted an expert opinion.

And I already gave the recent Heritage sales in the other thread.

Now that we see the picture, however, I note the $10.00 is a Type II. the Heritage pricing for the $10.00 was for Type I. I did not see any Heritage sales for Type II.

Anyone catch the error on the $20? Looks like you have a piece of another note on there! Don't forget to factor that in! Never seen a '29 mis-cut personally?
'29 NBN can fetch anywhere from $40-$400. Unfortunately I can't give you a price, but I can tell you that smaller banks demand a higher premium. You'll have to research realized pricing on those. Don't mistake those notes for '29 FRBN pricing!
I swear I saw a Saginaw not to long ago on Ebay, so you might want to check it out!

This is what a '29 FRBN looks like.

Small-size Nationals were delivered to the banks in sheets and cut by bank personnel. They were not cut by the BEP. Cutting problems on these notes are defects not errors.

As I noted in my PM to the OP, grade, cutting etc are factors, but not as much as they are for other collectable currencies - most people collect them for the bank name etc. I am particular about mine, I collect them for the particular bank that issued them. Hoping I will complete a type set later this month from the little town I collect from.
