I don't know anything about Polish coins Siberian Man, but I really do like yours. You have a nice collection there. Thanks for posting them. Bruce
Bruce, a Polish coins are very numerous and nice. When I started my collection in 1980, a several Polish coins was the first coins in my collection.
I always enjoy your posts Siberian Man, because it exposes me to a lot of coins that I'm not familiar with. I generally collect only U.S. issues, but you've piqued my interest in a number of issues from other countries and at some point I may start to collect some of them. Thanks for all the interesting material you share on the forum. Bruce
old picture from where i started by now i have almost full collection also my favorite 2zl coin is a 1998 Ropucha , great detail on this particular coin
I realy like the holo coin, I have that one in my collection as well LOL (just had to get it) another unusual one is the 2008 10Zl XXIXth Olimpic Games - Beijing Designer, Robert Kotowicz it has a domed center I at the moment have another 8 2zl to add to my collection with I think around another 6 or so on the way (When the US mail decided they should get to the UK LOL)
My favorite are the Polish coins from the 1920s. Some of the most beautiful coins struck anywhere in the world in the entire 20th century. The Polish coins from the early 1930s are equally as impressive. My only regret is my affinity for uncircualted specimens, as it is nearly impossible to find most of them in anything above AU.
