Hi all.I was wondering if anybody here collects papermoney notes from Poland(especially the old issues).Please share.I have started collecting papermoney notes from Poland for quite a while.It is hard though to find them in Uncirculated condition.The most i like are the ones under German occupation(1916-1917 issues)in the following denomnations: 1/2 Marek,2 Marek,5 Marek,10 Marek,20 Marek,50 Marek,100 Marek and 1000 marek 1917. Welcome to CT. Poland has some fantastic artwork on some of its banknotes. I don't collect them, but I'd love to see what you've got. I know the troubles of chasing down UNC notes Dave
edit..... thanx i don't do much paper money im more of a coin collector but have few notes from early 1900 will post up few pictures later on in a week
Most of my Polish notes are leftovers from trips through Warsaw, our next door neighbour country and co-host of UEFA 2012. Here are a couple from thematic collection I have: I won't collect the other notes of Poland, save the ones of Queen Jadwiga from the early days of Polish Republic.
