That is a VERY cool way of rationalizing/explaining the importance of a note that most wouldn't look twice at. Now, the David Hall that printed them while Franklin was in London, is that the same David Hall over at PCGS? He sure looks good for being at least 284 (259 since 1752 printings, and at least 25 years old as his apprentice/'co-printer' or 'interim printer'???.....;)

I couldn't possibly understand why someone wouldn't at the very least straighten out the corners... Hmmmmmm.......

What a great note! I was looking for one printed by Ben Franklin, but haven't seen any come up recently on Heritage.

I think I saw one of these in the Stacks Auction from back in August - they are all in "well loved" condition but about 12-15 of them came onto the market in the past three or four years.

I normally do Heritage and not Stacks for my auctioning, but will be sure to check them out if they seem to be getting the Franklin notes.
