Just added these three new Conder Tokens to my collection! I only have one other proof, so I was very pleased to add this beautiful proof Warwickshire D&H 208 (Hotel) to my collection. I was also glad to pick up this White Metal Hampshire D&H 6 (Admiral Earl Howe) - White Metal Conders are usually more rare than their bronze copper counterparts This popular Norfolk D&H 19 so-called "Flying Saucer" is actually a plough and shuttle and this one is in especially nice condition
Absolutely stunning PL, my favorite is the Norfolk-Norwich, that glowing surface just speaks to me as a copper guy.
Very nice...thanks for sharing!! Edit: Do you know what material the Admiral Earl Howe "white metal" is made of? A bit early for the Fuechtwanger Composition I would think. Btw...that's quite a beak on the Admiral
the fact that the last one (coin #3) is over 200 years old and is still red-brown, let alone MS-65, is quite amazing to me
Kanga, you're right, I won't be at the Philly show, but I WILL be at the ANA Pttsburgh show in October and the Baltimore show in November. Hope to see you!
Very nice pieces, as always, Charmy! It would be interesting to see all your Conder tokens in a side-by-side display. We've seen them here and there over the years, but never all together. Guy
Thanks for the link. I have no words to describe your collection that could do it justice. I did have to wipe the drool from my keyboard though! Guy
