These two coins have Cyrillic writing, so that narrows it down but I don't know what they say unfortunately. The first is 1930 with a denomination of 5 something. The second is made in the Soviet style but it looks different than other Soviet coins I have from the 1960s.
As for the first one, here is some info about what is depicted on the reverse: http://www.cointalk.com/t89008/ Christian
The first one: Kingdom of Bulgaria, ruler - tsar Boris III. Face value - 5 leva, copper-nickel, weight - 8 g., size - 26 mm, edge - serrated. Minted in Stuttgart (Germany). Designer - Ivan Lazarov. Mintage - 20001000 pcs.
The second one: People's Republic of Bulgaria. Face value - 2 stotinkas, bronze, weight - 2 g., size - 18 mm, minted in Sofia (Bulgaria).
Here is a more modern rendition of the image. This is a part of my "Horses" topical set of coins. It's a great design. That 1930 coin you have is a great condition piece Hiddendragon. While they were minted in large numbers, they are a little hard to find in UNC condition nowadays. -Brandon
I got lucky with this one. I was looking through a huge bin of world coins and the store was about to close and I found this right before I gave up, so I almost missed out.
